Its a baby sloth wrapped around a tree trunk in that classic sloth way, arms stretched forward hugging the wood, body hanging below. The face is turned forward so you see the full expression, those big round dark eyes, a tiny flat nose, and a small upward curve of a mouth that looks like its just happy to be there. Three little green leaves poke out from the top of the branch above its head.

Nine colours, eight changes, which is alot but its worth it. The fur goes through multiple layers, tan outer sections, cream belly, peach face, warm brown midsection, darker chocolate shadowing in the claws and under the arms. The density is 1,467 which is on the high end and the texture on the finished piece genuinely feels like thick soft fur if you stitch it on quality thread. Smallest size is 2.17 inches wide by 3.51 tall. Biggest hits 4.64 wide and 7.51 tall.

Ive had customers ask if this works for adult apparel and the answer is yes, its cute without being babyish. The expression is warm rather than goofy. One customer last month put the largest version on a charcoal zip hoodie as a pocket design and it looked excellent. They said their coworkers kept asking where they got it.

Wind extra bobbins before you start, 51k stitches on the biggest size eats through thread fast. Use a firm mesh cutaway stabiliser under this one, the high density wants solid backing or the fabric puckers between the layered fur sections. Stitch on white, cream, or sage cotton for best results. Hoop firm and slow the machine down for the claw sections where threads run close together. Skip polyester fleece on the large sizes, the pile messes with those fine fur direction fills.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
