Ive sold a bunch of nursery rainbow designs but this one, the boho heart version, gets ordered the most. People have been ordering it for baby shower gifts all this year, probably because the colour palette is so considered. Its not a bright classic rainbow, its a softer version with 4 nested arches in pink, caramel tan, warm grey and a deeper tan. The outer pink arch has a row of tiny raised hearts spaced evenly around it, maybe 15 or so hearts depending on the size. Right at the base of the innermost arch theres a single small pink heart sitting centred at the bottom.

3 colours total, 4 sizes from 1.17 inches wide up to 3.5 inches. Stitch counts run from 2.2k at the smallest up to 7.4k at the biggest. Thats pretty light even at the large size, so it sits well on finer baby fabrics without pulling. The arch bands use a horizontal satin fill with good coverage.

Hoop with a light tearaway stabiliser for cotton and muslin, dont go heavy with the backing on newborn fabrics or it stiffens up the finished piece. The tiny hearts on the outer band need a steady hoop tension to come out clean. Stitch on white or pale cream and the pink pops really nicely. Avoid anything with a strong print underneath because the small heart details get lost.

Best results on plain cotton, muslin, fine linen and thick felt. Try the 1.17 inch size for small patches on socks or bibs. And the largest at 3.5 inches sits centred on a baby bodysuit chest with room on both sides.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baby shower gift sets on muslin wraps and burp clothsStitch the mid size on a folded muslin wrap for a sweet baby shower set, neutral enough for any nursery.
  • Nursery hoop art on plain cotton or linenFrame the 3.5 mini in a small hoop for wall art above a cot or changing table.
  • Newborn bodysuits and baby onesiesUse the 3.5 mini centred on a plain white baby bodysuit chest, sits perfectly at that placement.
  • Baby bibs and socks with small sizeTry the 1.17 inch size on a baby bib corner or a pair of newborn socks for a subtle accent.
  • Pillow covers and cushions for a nursery roomPop on a plain cushion cover for a boho nursery setup, the neutral tones work with most colour schemes.
  • Gift tags and small felt patches for baby hampersStitch the small size on a thick felt rectangle for a handmade gift tag on a baby hamper basket.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
