Made this one for the kids range last spring and honestly it just kept selling. The llama sits front-facing with this big friendly expression, soft cream body, warm tan on the ears and muzzle, and a little decorative blanket across its back that punches the colour right up. Four colours total, and the density sits at 703 so the satin sections come out smooth on most woven fabrics. Alot of my customers reach for this one for nursery projects and baby showers, which makes sense because the scale works perfectly on small items.

And the stitch range is pretty wide. Smallest size comes in at 10,822 stitches across 2.54 inches, largest goes up to 28,625 stitches at 5.44 inches wide. Five sizes in the file, so you can go pocket patch on a denim jacket or centrepiece on a kids tote without re-digitising anything. Use firm cutaway stretchy fabrics to keep the underlay from shifting while you hoop. I usually hoop the fabric tight and run a topping on fleece so the llamas face stays crisp.

Stitch it on a onesie pocket, a lil canvas bag, or a kids bedroom pillow and it just works every time. The directional fill on the body means the fur reads natural under the light even at small sizes. Pop it on a denim jacket chest in the 3 inch size for a subtle animal accent that doesnt shout. Skip the topping on tightly woven cotton, its not needed and saves thread. One customer ordered this for a llama-themed birthday party, she stitched it on twelve little pouches for party favours and messaged me saying they turned out better than she expected. That kind of project is exactly what this size range is built for.

Holler if a format doesnt open right on your machine and Ill send you a working replacement straight away.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids birthday party favour bagsStitch the 2.54 inch size on small canvas pouches using medium-weight cutaway, colours pop on natural fabric.
  • Baby shower onesie gift setsThe 3 inch size fits neatly on an 18-month onesie chest with room to breathe around it.
  • Nursery room pillow centrepieceUse the 5.44 inch version on a cotton pillow cover, hooped with heavy-weight cutaway for clean registration.
  • Children's backpack patchThe 3 inch size makes a clean iron-on-style patch on a kids school bag with minimal bulk.
  • Denim jacket pocket badgeRun the 4-inch centre on the left chest of a denim jacket using a sharp 80/12 needle for woven denim.
  • Tote bag for toddler classCanvas or cotton drill tote takes the medium size well with no topping needed on tight weave.
  • Llama-themed party decorationsAny size from this file works for llama party items, just match the item size and stabiliser weight.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
