Its a competitive swimmer caught mid-stroke, body nearly flat and parallel to the water line, head tucked just above the surface. The body is a solid near-black silhouette done in tight directional fills that run along the limb angles, so youre getting a sense of movement even on a static piece. Back with mid-weight cutaway for stretch towelling or sports nylon, or a standard tearaway on woven canvas bags and flat cotton. Hoop the piece nice and taut on towelling or the horizontal pulls drag the body silhouette crooked. Pick a sharp needle for microfibre fabric.
