The snowman's body isnt round like you'd expect, its a big open swirl spiral, like someone drew a giant paisley and just popped a snowman head on top. its one of the ones that reads as a snowman straight away but theres something a bit quirky about it once you look closer. The head has proper button eyes, a carrot nose stitched in orange, and a striped scarf going round the neck. Stick arms branch out on both sides with three little finger-twigs each. Last christmas I put the 5-in chest run on navy fleece and the sky-blue thread really sang against the dark background.
Three thread colours in the design: sky blue for the body and hat, orange for the carrot and arm tips, white for the scarf stripes and button highlights. The colour changes are only 2 swaps so its quite quick to run, even on the bigger size. stitch density lands near 320 per square inch which is on the lighter side, that actually works in your favour on stretchy fabrics because the fill doesnt stiffen up the cloth as much. Nice result on fleece and sweatshirt material.
One customer ordered this last december for matching family christmas pyjamas, kids jumpers and holiday aprons mainly. But I also see it go on tote bags, canvas pouches, and those chunky knit stockings people hang by the fireplace. Its a solid all-rounder for the festive season. Keep the hooping tight on knits. Pop a layer of topping on if your fabric has any texture, the swirl body is open enough that texture from the cloth can show through. Stitch a test swatch on fleece before committing to your final garment if youre unsure about density on that particular cloth weight.

- Canvas tote bags and gift pouchesNatural canvas tote bags in white or cream show all 3 thread colours with no bleed-through risk.
- Christmas stockings hung by the fireplaceLarge knit stockings need a firm cutaway backing to anchor the swirl body cleanly on the surface.
- Holiday pillow covers and cushion frontsThe quirky swirl body shape makes a great centrepiece on a square cushion front at the 7-inch size.
- Fleece blankets and kids' fleece jacketsFleece jackets for kids stitch up fast, the low density means the machine runs quickly through the design.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
