This is the realistic T-rex design and hes a proper Jurassic look. Mouth wide open mid-roar, sharp white teeth showing, head thrust forward, thick muscled tail balanced out behind him. Theres a grey shadow stitched on the ground under his feet which sells the whole 'standing right there' effect.
The colouring isnt flat. The back goes sage green with darker olive shadows along the spine and tail. Belly and inner thighs are mustard yellow, throat and inside the mouth are soft pink. Proper directional satin stitches in the body so muscle lines actually read as muscle, not just one solid colour block.
My nephew kept asking for a T-rex that looked 'real, not a baby one'. So I drew up his version for his christmas pj set last year. He showed it to his whole class and apparently the geology teacher even asked where it came from. I get messages from dads ordering this one for their dino-obsessed kids alot.
5 sizes from 3.42 inches to 7.31 inches wide. Smallest works on a chest pocket or cap front. Largest is meant for the back of a hoodie or centre of a kids tee.
Heads up, this is a dense one. 10 colours and up to 74k stitches on the biggest size so go for a tightly woven fabric like a heavy cotton tee, brushed twill or canvas. Back it with a solid cutaway stabiliser, not tearaway. Slow the machine speed a tad on the densest sections. Customer feedback always circles back to the muscle shading looking like a real graphic. Send me a quick note if the file refuses to open and ill swap it out within hrs.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Boys school backpacksBoys school backpack flap stitch, handles a full term of playground wear and still shows the detail after washing.
- Birthday party tee setsWhite birthday tee at the smaller version for a Jurassic theme, the layered muscle shading gives it depth paper print cant.
- Jurassic theme bedroom pillowsDark green pillowcase corner for a dino bedroom that already has volcano rocks and plastic figurines everywhere.
- Dad and son matching teesDad and son matching shirts at two different sizes for a fathers day gift, or just because both of them asked for it.
- Drawstring sports bagsKids drawstring kit bag front so they can pick it out at sports practice without opening every bag at the rack.
- Denim jacket back patchesThrifted denim jacket back panel, the big version with detailed muscle shading passes as a custom shop piece.
- Canvas pencil casesCanvas pencil case back to school stitch, a dino fan is easier to equip if the stationery already has the right energy.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
