The two words teacher and life are the centrepiece, both written in a flowing script that overlaps and locks together. Teacher's on top in a bold red, life below it in a warm magenta-to-pink, the letters big enough to read from across a room. Around the outside of the text, seven or eight school supply icons float in the gaps, green pencil top-left, a pink coffee cup with a little bow, a purple paintbrush, a yellow highlighter, blue ruler, a small teal globe, a red apple with a green leaf, plus a scatter of tiny hearts and paperclip accents. The whole composition reads like someones desk drawer tipped out and arranged itself into a design.

Seven colours means seven stops, but honestly thats about right for how much is going on in this one. Run through proper software so the icons lay flat, the script uses a split directional fill so it picks up some depth. The density sits at 488 spi count which is solidish but not heavy, so it wont stiffen a soft cotton tee noticeably.

I get a fair bit of interest from people making school staff gifts in bulk. One buyer ordered 3 dozen shirts for her entire faculty and she said the 6-in size on a front chest panel looks like something you paid proper money for at a boutique. I know that sounds like a lot of praise but the design genuinely holds up at larger sizes because of how much detail's packed in. It's that kind of design.

Use a light to mid-weight woven cotton or jersey. White, pale grey, soft pink or mint backgrounds let all seven colours show properly. Hoop with a medium tearaway or cutaway, add water-soluble topping on jersey to keep the script edges sharp. Keep stitch speed moderate through the dense script sections so the top thread doesnt skip on the tightest curves.

Run through all seven colour stops in file order, the apple and globe icons come early and the highlight accents stitch last. Try the 3-in print on a fabric bookmark as a small teacher gift idea. Ping me if the script letters show gapping between the fill sections and Ill resend a corrected file.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Back-to-school faculty appreciation shirtsRun the 5-in motif for 3 dozen shirts for a whole school faculty and give them out on the first day back as a team gift
  • Teacher tote bag with school supply themeAdd the 5-inch to a natural canvas tote and fill it with sticky notes, a good pen and some biscuits for the staffroom
  • Staff room cushion cover keepsakeEmbroider the 7-inch on a plain cushion cover and leave it on a teachers chair as a surprise welcome-back present at the start of term
  • End-of-year sweatshirt gift for a favourite teacherPlace the 6-inch on a fleece sweatshirt and gift it to a teacher on the last week of school with a handwritten note tucked in the sleeve
  • Classroom-themed fabric wall art hoopMount a stitched-out piece in a large embroidery hoop, frame it and hang it in a classroom as a fabric wall display

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
