Apple and pencil framing the words Teachers Care to the Core, lil bit punny but it lands. Left side carries the wording in three rough lines, teachers up top in a flowing red satin script, then care to the in a tighter black sans-serif on the next two rows, then core finishes it off in the same red script as the opening word. Letters loop and wrap close to keep the layout tight.
Right side carries a half-cut apple, sliced open to show the inner core with two brown seeds and the pale ivory flesh tucked behind a thick red outline. A small green leaf and brown stem sit up on top so ya know exactly what fruit it is. Bunch of fine black detail work runs around the seed pocket. Whole piece reads like a classroom poster, its just stitched up in thread.
Pieced this one out last august for a buyer who runs a small etsy shop selling teacher gifts. Her order ran the 4-inch on cream cotton zip pouches and a bunch went through her singer in one sitting. She told me later her thank-you-teacher batch sold out the first weekend of september.
Density is moderate, max 20,450 stitches across nine sizes, so it sits well on aprons, tees and tote bags. The 5-inch sits clean on a cream apron for a school staffroom kitchen. Drop the 3-inch onto a teacher tote bag for end-of-year gifting. Use a tearaway stabiliser under cotton, light cutaway under jersey, and slow ya machine for the apple satin fill so the red doesnt push.
Skip dark fabrics here, the black middle text on navy or charcoal disappears and ya lose the pun. Pair with sage or mustard piping if ya want a soft retro feel, or stick with cream and red for a classic schoolroom look. Theres lots of room to play with thread colours here. Pick a soft cotton thread for the script if youre after a vintage chalkboard vibe.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
