Three big eyed kittens stacked on top of each other on a black canvas, all stitched in golden yellow line work. Heres the bit that matters, I drew this design specifically for dark fabric. The fine 2mm gold lines are what give it that almost glowing look against black or navy.

The detail is what sets it apart. Fur direction lines, paw pads, whisker dots, and each kitten has its own facial expression. Its alot of fine stitching but the result reads sharp if your machine handles small detail well. Density runs around 876 with directional stitching on the fur so it catches light when you turn the hooped fabric.

Honestly its been one of my favourites to digitise this year. Two colours only, golden yellow body lines and a warm amber accent on the eyes and paw pads. Keeps thread changes simple while still giving you that detailed line-art look on a 9 size set.

Customers are using this for tote bags, hoodies, cat cafe aprons, and last month one customer ordered the 7 inch size and stitched a whole row of throw pillows for her cat rescue fundraiser. The vertical stacked layout works lovely on a tall narrow space like a sleeve or front pocket.

Comes in 9 sizes from 3.5 to 7-in max tall. Smaller sizes lose fine line detail. Pick the middle to larger sizes if you want all the whisker and fur work to read. Stitch on charcoal, navy, deep burgundy or black for max contrast. Use a cutaway stabiliser since the line work is dense in spots. Skip light fabrics here, the design wont show. Run polyester thread on knits so the gold holds against wash. Bug me on chat with photo if any line goes loose on test sew.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Cat lover tote bagsPop a medium across a charcoal market tote, the gold line work just glows against the dark base.
  • Black hoodies and tshirtsStitches gorgeous on a black or navy hoodie chest panel, great for cat parents who lean moody.
  • Cat cafe aprons and uniformsLooks fab on a black cafe apron front, real charming for a cat cafe staff uniform run.
  • Throw pillow frontsDrop on a black throw pillow front, the vertical stack reads clean from across the living room.
  • Rescue fundraiser merchandiseSells brilliant as rescue fundraiser merch, the detail makes folks feel its handmade not bulk printed.
  • Sleeve pocket accentsTall narrow format runs lovely down a sleeve or along a tee pocket placement.
  • Vintage style cushion coversStitches gorgeous on a deep burgundy or forest velvet cushion cover, real vintage feel.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
