The kittens stack starts with a ginger on top, smug as you like, then a grey striped middle one who looks mildly alarmed about the situation, and a tuxedo at the base doing all the structural work. None of them look like they agreed to this arrangement. Its that totem-pole cat meme energy, except stitched onto cream fabric and looking alot cuter than it has any right to.

my professional tool handled the colour routing, 3 colours total but the tabby markings come through directional satin so they read as actual stripes rather than a flat patch. Stitch count runs from 27,034 on the smallest 4.5 inch size up to 54,841 on the big 8.5 inch version across 9 size options. Use cutaway stabiliser underneath, the density hits 1,186 stitches per square inch and it needs something solid to land on.

A customer who runs a pet-sitting business sent me a photo last month, shes got this on the front of her aprons and it basically became her brand. Smart call honestly. The 7-inch version fits nicely centre-chest on adult tees, and I had someone pop the biggest size on the back of a kids denim jacket last winter and it came out really well.

Hit it across a cream pillow front or a canvas tote and the ginger pops hard. Skip anything too dark or the stripe detail disappears into the background fabric. Hoop snug or the layering between cats will shift and youll lose the clean edges on the tuxedo patches. Best backing is medium-weight cutaway, not tearaway, because the dense underlay for the stripes needs something that doesnt pull away mid-run.

And if your file doesnt load right, Hit me up and Ill sort it within the day.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • cat mum tote bags and pouchesStitch the 5-in chest run on canvas market tote, sits perfectly on the front panel.
  • pet sitter and groomer apronsPop this centred on an apron bib for a pet-sitting or grooming small business brand.
  • kids hoodies and sweatshirtsRun the 7-inch on a kids hoodie back panel, the stacked trio reads really well at that size.
  • cream linen throw pillowsPair it with a plain cream linen pillow cover, the ginger orange pops on neutral ground.
  • cat cafe staff uniformsUse the smallest 4.5-in chest for a uniform polo for cat cafe front-of-house staff.
  • personalised pet gift setsBundle with an initial patch on a matching tote for a gift set cat owners will actually use.
  • canvas backpack front pocketPlace the 5-in chest run on canvas backpack pocket, adds personality without overwhelming the bag.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
