Played with this one for a while before it clicked. Its a full-size pencil sitting at a diagonal angle across the frame, and the barrel is wrapped in that classic amber and orange leopard print, black spots running all over it like a proper big-cat pattern. The eraser end is a soft dusty pink, the ferrule band is pale blue, and the wood taper leading to the graphite tip has its own subtle fill so it actually reads like sharpened wood rather than a flat block.

Surrounding the pencil on both sides youve got three or four daisy-ish blooms in a faded dusty pink, each with a small amber centre spot. Slim green leaf sprigs fan out between the flowers, some with elongated narrow leaves, some with rounder berry-type clusters. The whole thing fits together without looking cluttered because the flowers stay tight against the pencil body rather than sprawling out. And the contrast between the wild leopard fill and the soft botanical framing is what gives it its thing.

Seventeen colours in total, so yeah, theres a fair bit going on. But each section is a clean, distinct fill zone, no blending or shading trickery. Smallest size comes out at 2 by 3.5 inches, biggest pushes to 4.29 by 7.49, so it scales from a pencil-case pocket all the way up to a tote or a teacher tee. A customer who teaches primary school ordered the chest 4 in on a stone cotton tote and said her class stopped her at the door to look at it. Stitch count tops at 24k on the largest so budget around 30 minutes on a mid-speed machine.

Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser and hoop firmly. Run the colour stops in sequence, dont skip ahead even if you think two areas look the same amber shade. They arent the same. Slow your machine to around 600 SPM on the outline passes or they can pull the satin fill underneath. Light iron-on topping helps on any knit or textured fabric so those lines stay crisp. Back-to-school season last August had me shipping this file more than any other that month. Holler at me if the leopard body pulls off-grain after washing and Ill walk you through the fix.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
