This is a lil playful halloween scene. Trick or Treat runs across the centre in chunky hand-lettered font, mixing orange and black letters. Above and below the words youll find scattered halloween icons, bat, candy corn, spider web corner, lil ghost peeking around the script. Loose layout, scattered, more kids party than tight grid. Friendly spooky tone.

Now the sizes here run wide. 9 sizes total spanning from 2.51 inches wide and 3.48 inches tall up to a 5.38 inch wide by seven and a half inch tall option. Stitch counts move from 7385 to 16460. Density sits really lite at 408 spi giving a medium-feel finish, so the icons read crisp without going stiff on stretchy fabrics. Five colours and four changes, easy to follow on the run sheet. Its honestly easier than the photo suggests. Stitches up quickly for its impact. One customer messaged about her sons shirt. honestly its less work than the preview suggests.

A bunch of customers buy this one in october for school party tees and toddler bibs. Id a customising buyer last fall who hooped the 5 inch wide version on a poly-cotton youth tee. She emailed me about the bat tail and I rebuilt the underlay so the bat sits flat on knit. Pop a medium-weight cutaway under stretchy fabrics. Skip tearaway on knits. Use a topping atop terry-fleece bibs so the candy corn ridges dont sink into the pile.

For the orange letters pick a polyester with sheen, the colour wants to pop against a dark shirt. The black icons sit best in matte rayon so they read shadowy.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Toddler halloween bib frontToddler bib front for a preschool halloween parade; terry pile needs a topping or the candy corn ridges vanish into the loops.
  • Kids trick or treat tote bagMy customer ran the wide layout across kraft-look canvas tote bags for her PTA bake sale, scattered icons read sharp from a distance.
  • Youth halloween tee centreHolds shape on knit youth tees with a medium cutaway anchoring the chunky letters; classroom group order favourite.
  • School halloween party bannerFelt classroom banner cut into letters for door dressing; the bat outline needs a slow run so the wing tip stays crisp.
  • Pet costume bandana cornerDog bandana point at the lower triangle, the small icon scatter wraps around a pup neck without crowding the centre.
  • Halloween classroom door signDoor sign at teacher request for a third-grade homeroom; cutaway keeps the layout square through the staple line.
  • Spooky kitchen towel hemReads as friendly rather than spooky, which a daycare director told me after the order shipped four kitchen towel hems for the staff lounge.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
