The frame is a thick warm-brown ornate heart and inside it theres an entire beach scene packed in. Two coconut palms arch in at the top corners, fronds overlapping each other slightly. Behind them big fluffy clouds sit in an orange-tan sky. The middle third is all ocean, layered cyan and dark blue wave fills that give it real depth. Sandy beach at the bottom with two surfboards leaning up against the right palm, one purple and one red.

Thirteen colours, twelve colour changes, so this one takes some thread swaps but the result is worth every one. Its the kind of finished piece that genuinely looks like a vacation postcard on fabric. Ive made this on cream linen cushion covers and it gets more comments than basically any other design in the room. Last summer one customer ordered the 10-inch version for beach house guest pillows and messaged me saying people thought shed bought them abroad.

Stitch counts run high, up to about 163k on the largest size, so this isnt a rushed lunch break project. Set it going and let the machine do its thing. The density is handled really well by the professional digitising software digitising so layering stays clean and theres no puckering if you stabilise properly.

Use a firm cutaway backing on anything that needs to hold shape over time. Works on linen, cotton canvas, denim and heavier wovens. Avoid stretchy knits on this one, the high stitch count really does need a stable base. Topping helps on any textured surface. Hoop snug.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
