The sunset scene runs wide, filling the hoop from edge to edge. The sun is the anchor, an amber disc sitting right at the waterline, stitched in directional satin with radiating fill that catches light differently depending on the angle. Above it the sky moves through crimson, dusty pink, and a warm nude tone in angled bands. Seven colours total and density hits 2,111 on this one, which is among the heavier designs in this range. the digitising software handled the colour layering and the transitions between sky tones read clean and intentional rather than blocky.

Those stitch counts are serious, 40,435 at the smallest size, up to 112,581 at 7.12 inches wide. Run this on a stabiliser thats rated for dense work, a medium-to-heavy cutaway on wovens. Ive had ya mention this stalls cheaper machines at the high end, so if your machine struggles past 80,000 stitches on a single design, stick to the 5.5-inch or smaller versions. Drop a message if that comes up and Ill tell you which file to use from the set.

The palm silhouettes on either side are directional filled in sage green and dark olive, not flat, they have a lil texture to them. A customer ordered the 6-in face on an aqua canvas tote last summer and the amber sun against that background colour looked really good, warmer than I expected. Pair it on navy, white, or any ocean-adjacent base. Use a topping on any textured canvas to keep the fine detail on the water reflection bands from sinking. Sizes go from 3.32 to 7.12 inches wide across 9 files.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Canvas totes for a beach or summer market lookThe wide scene format works brilliantly on the full front panel of a canvas shopper in aqua or natural.
  • Linen table runners for a coastal dining tableAt 7 inches wide it fills the centre of a linen runner beautifully for a summer table setting.
  • Vacation memory quilt blocks or wall art hoopsStitch multiple colourways across quilt blocks for a coastal-themed memory piece or gallery wall.
  • Beach coverup or sarong pocket embellishmentThe 4.5-inch version fits neatly on a coverup pocket without overwhelming the garment.
  • Kids' beach bags and swim pouchesGreat on a 12x12 canvas pouch for beach kit, the amber and crimson tones pop on white cotton.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
