Built around this idea of a flamingo who just refused to acknowledge that christmas doesnt happen on the beach. The palm tree takes up most of the composition, a wide arching grey trunk with dense dark green fronds spread out at the top. Hanging all through those fronds: red round ornament balls, yellow star-shaped decorations, dark red ribbon bows, a tiny green miniature Christmas tree, red and green striped gift boxes, red star shapes on thin hanging threads, and what looks like a candy cane tucked in on the right side. Its 11 colours and the density on this one is 1041, the highest of anything I've done in this tropical christmas set.

The flamingo stands at the base, one leg up in proper flamingo fashion, pink body with black detailing and a little red Santa hat perched on its head. At the sand base theres a pineapple sitting right beside the trunk roots. The sand patch itself is a warm sandy fill and the whole thing has that kinda chaotic tropical christmas energy where everything is happening at once but it reads as one piece. Customers asked for more tropical christmas options after I put out the first flamingo design, so this one has more ornaments and more going on than the original.

Five sizes from 3.51 to 7.51 inches wide. Stitches run from 26,719 up to 57,793 at the largest. With 11 colour changes and 110 trims at the small size, this is a real project stitch-out. Tape a heavy cutaway behind your panel pre-hoop, the frond fills are wide and dense and you need solid backing. Work slow on the palm frond sections.
