Seven colours running 26,796 stitches on the small size and 57,276 on the largest hoop.51 inch size. The flamingo stands on one leg with tropical foliage behind it, built in flamingo pink through coral and pale blush with directional stitching on the body feathers that catches the light differently at different angles. The greens in the background foliage are layered rather than flat so the whole composition has depth you dont usually get in an embroidery design at this price. High density at 1,357 means the fills are solid and opaque, no ground fabric peeking through.
Press a firm backer on cotton canvas or denim, these are the natural homes for a high-count design like this. On lighter cotton fabrics, go heavy on the stabiliser and consider a topping to keep the feather directional stitches from sinking into the weave. Ive hooped this on a natural cotton canvas tote at the 6 inch size and the flamingo completely dominated the bag front in the best way possible. Slow the machine on the plumage sections because the density buildup means you want each pass to lay flat before the next colour goes down.
A customer ordered this last summer for a set of resort wear matching towels and sent photos, the 5-inch on bleached white terry looked genuinely amazing. At that density the feather details stayed raised and textured against the towel pile. Thats a hard thing to pull off on terry cloth but the topping layer sorted the registration. Stitch the smaller 3.51 inch size on a swimsuit cover-up pocket for a boutique resort look that doesnt need any explanation.
Add the 7 inch version to a large market tote for a summer statement bag. Try the 5-inch hoop on a linen shirt front for resort or beach casual wear. Use on white or natural ground fabrics so the full 7-colour palette reads correctly. Skip dark fabrics where the light pink and blush tones disappear into the ground. Best with a topping on any napped or pile fabric so the satin fill in the flamingo body stays crisp and smooth.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
