The guitar here is really just the container. Inside the body theres a full lil tropical sunset going on, black palm silhouettes standing tall on both sides, a warm coral-salmon band running across the middle where the sun would be, and a soft teal wash below that reads like a water reflection. Its a wide horizontal design, quite landscape-format for a guitar shape, which is what makes it interesting. The neck stretches off to the right with actual music notes scattered along the strings.

3 colours and nine sizes, though for most projects youll work in the 4.5 to 7.5 inch width range. The smallest hoop at 4.5 inches still holds the palm detail reasonably well because my professional tool set the colour build and routed the 3 thread zones so they abut without overlap bleed. The coral fill runs first, then the teal layer comes in underneath, and the black silhouettes stitch last on top, which is the right order for clean coverage.

At 856 density this is a medium-weight fill. It wont stiffen up a soft jersey fabric too badly but cutaway stabiliser is still the right call here, especially on a cotton tee or a fleece pullover. The palm frond details are fine enough that topping film is worth using on any fabric with a nap or texture. Hooped flat and stitched straight through, no applique steps needed.

A customer grabbed the 7.5-in build just last week and ran it on the back panel of a cream linen tote, and the 3 colours really popped against the natural ground. The design reads great from a distance because the colour blocking is bold enough to carry across a room. Pair it with tan or bone thread for the outline if you want to warm the whole thing up.

Best fabric choices are mid-weight cotton, canvas, linen, or a structured denim. Skip anything too stretchy without a stabiliser backing or the palm silhouettes will distort.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Music-lover tote bags and canvas backpacks7.5-inch size fills a tote bag panel perfectly, the colour bands read clearly on natural canvas.
  • Beach or surf themed apparel backsBack-of-shirt placement at 6-7 inches works great on a standard adult tee with cutaway stabiliser.
  • Guitar player gift items like pouches and casesThe 4.5 build fits a guitar case accessory pouch or small zip bag nicely.
  • Summer camp or music festival merchandiseBright coral and teal thread colours stand out well on black or dark navy festival merch.
  • Cotton tees for tropical music band merchCentre chest placement at 4.5-5 inches on a cotton tee looks clean and intentional.
  • Linen cushions with a boho beach vibeUse on a natural linen cushion cover with matching teal and coral thread for a coastal decor look.
  • Denim shirts for musicians who love the tropicsChest pocket placement on a denim shirt at 3-4 inches keeps it subtle but recognisable.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
