So this is the tropical sunset scene and its done as a wide panorama, 7.49 by 7.46 inches on the biggest hoop. Sky takes the top half. Indigo at the very top, melting into dusty pink, then peach, then a glowing gold band right at the horizon where the sun sits half-dipped. Two palm trees on the left lean in silhouette, fronds in navy. Gentle sage waves roll across the foreground and a thin cream strip of sand catches the bottom edge.

Eight colour layered fills do the heavy lifting here, the sun gradient is what really sells the sunset feel. Coral bleeds into peach, peach into gold and the gold catches the top of the wave line so the water picks up a little of that sunset glow. Pick fabric with care. Stitch on cream linen, oatmeal canvas or pale chambray and the warm sun tones glow. Skip black aswell, the indigo sky just disappears into it and the gradient flattens. Skip jersey too, this much fill needs a stable woven base. For pillows go with linen or twill, theyre fabrics where directional satin behaves nicely.

Density runs heavy on the 7.49-inch by 7.46-inch hoop, 64,789 stitches with 22,987 on the smallest. So use a heavy cutaway stabiliser, double layer if youre on lightweight cotton, clamp the hoop firm and run the machine at a measured pace across the gradient bands.
