Two cats, facing each other, noses just touching. Each one sitting straight up with that cat posture, tail curled around to one side. Pink bow tied at the neck on each one, and 7 small pink hearts scattered above their heads like something out of a valentines card thats actually good. The fur texture isnt flat black, its a navy-teal layered underneath the black fill which gives the coat that deep, slightly glossy look.

This is genuinely one of the most stitch-dense designs Ive put out. 4 colours only: the blue-black fur base, pink for bows and hearts, white for whisker dots and eye highlights, and a final black pass for depth and outline. At the 7.26-inch size it runs to 92,907 stitches, which is alot for a 4-colour design. But thats where the texture comes from. Use topping film on fluffy fabric because of all the dense satin layers stacked on top of each other.

People have been buying this for cat mum gifts, for friend pairs who both own cats, for birthdays. One customer texted me a photo of it last month on a tote bag she made for her best friend, both of them own matching black cats, and it was spot on. Send a note if the file throws up any trouble and Ill take a look.

Try it on cream, white or pale lavender cotton. The black fur really stands out on a light background, and the pink hearts just glow. Use firm cutaway stabiliser because the stitch density at 1,506 is high across the full design area, tearaway wont hold it flat on larger sizes. Slow your machine speed down on the dense body fills, particularly where the satin columns are layered in the cat bodies. Text me a chat note if the file gives any trouble on stretch fabrics and Ill rework it fast.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
