Two butterflies, one bigger below and a smaller one above and to the right, both facing outward like youre catching them mid-stillness. Theyre drawn with all the wing vein detail youd expect from a monarch, those radiating lines across both sets of wings, the bodies are slim and accurate-looking. All single black thread, pure outline, no fill at all.
Compact 3.5 inch run pairs well with pocket placements at 8,003 stitches, and the full 7.5-inch version runs 17,585. Single color means no stops at all, 61 trims is all you get. Hoop a medium tearaway for light fabrics like linen or cotton, cutaway if youre doing anything with stretch. The line weight is fine so dont skip the stabiliser. Pop it in the hoop properly and let it run.
People tell me this one looks hand-drawn once its finished. I get messages about this regularly, somebody stitches it on linen napkins and then writes to say it looked like someone drew right onto the fabric. Stitch it on a cotton dinner napkin set, use it on a canvas tote for spring, put it on a linen cardigan for a botanical fashion look. A customer last spring used it on her wedding favor bags in muslin and it looked incredible. The paired composition stands alone without any text, which is why it works on so many different things.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
