A unicorn face looking straight out at you, eyes closed with those long curly lashes. The horn spirals upward in dark thread, the ears are small and rounded with red accents inside. Right where the nose should be theres a big red heart, such a good little detail. Three small hearts float above the horn, one bright green and two red. Its that classic kids-unicorn formula but the green is what makes it feel a bit different.

3 colors: red, green, and near-black. The green seems like an odd pick at first but it works, stops it going too heavy on the typical red-and-black valentine look. And theres something about that combination that reads as more playful than serious. Runs from 7,562 stitches at the smallest to 21,376 at the 6 inch wide size. Density is 477, so it'll behave fine on knit fabrics, use a light cutaway and hoop with the grain. Most customer orders for this one are on kids clothing and I completely understand why.

A grandma messaged me last January saying she puts this on a fabric card for her granddaughter every year since I started selling it, which honestly I love. Stitch it on a toddler sweatshirt at 4 inches. Put the small version on a baby onesie chest. Pop it on the front of a kids apron or a school bag pocket. Use it on felt zipper pouches for a pencil case. Dont limit it to February, unicorn kids want unicorns all year and this one works outside the holiday context too.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Toddler and kids sweatshirts for Valentine's DayVertical proportions 3-6 inches suit kids chest panels, centers naturally on a toddler sweatshirt.
  • Baby onesies and bodysuits for the 12-18 month rangeBaby bodysuit chest fits the 2.79 x 3.51 inch size without covering the snap panel; 7,562 stitches is fine on cotton knit.
  • Kids school bags and fabric pencil casesBackpack front pocket at 4 inches reads clearly and bright colors stay visible against dark bag fabric.
  • Children's aprons and crafting smocksKids apron front panel at 4-5 inches, cheerful enough for a cooking activity, not just a holiday.
  • Handmade fabric Valentine's Day cards and gift tagsCut heart-shaped felt, stitch this in center, and you have a card every kid on the class list will want.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
