This one came together really nicely and I was honestly suprised how well the colors read at smaller sizes. Its a little unicorn curled up on a big fluffy cloud, a full rainbow arching over the top and tiny gold stars scattered around. The mane is done in soft pink and the face has that round kawaii look, all big eyes and sweet expression. Twelve colors total, so there are a few thread changes, but the result is genuinely gorgeous on fleece or a thick cotton sweatshirt.
Comes in 9 sizes running from 3.50 x 3.03 inches all the way up to 7.50 x 6.49 inches, with stitch counts from 16,341 up to 43,354. That upper range is a denser fill so density is dialled to around 4.5 spi to keep the cloud detail soft and avoid pushthrough. Tearaway stabiliser works great on woven fabrics like quilting cotton; for stretch knits or fleece go with a cutaway and hoop it snug so nothing shifts during those longer color runs.
My customers run this one on kids hoodies and nursery hoop art more than anything else. One customer stitched the 5-inch version on the back panel of a toddler sweatshirt for her daughters birthday and sent me the most adorable photo. If you're doing hoop art, the 7-inch works beautifully mounted on a pastel linen square. You can run the rainbow colors in tonal thread for a subtler look, or go full saturated for that pop-of-color kids party vibe.
Holler at me if any of the files dont open right in your software and Ill sort it out fast.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Kids hoodie back panelStunning on fleece hoodies for toddlers, the 5-inch size fits perfectly across the back yoke without crowding the seams.
- Nursery hoop artMounted on a pale pink linen square in a round hoop, this sits beautifully above a nursery crib as a keepsake piece.
- Baby onesie chestParents love the 3.5-inch version centered on a cotton onesie chest for a rainbow birthday or baby shower gift.
- Birthday party tote bagCenter panel placement on a natural canvas tote gives a fun party favor bag that kids actually want to keep.
- Girls bedroom pillow coverSewn onto a white velvet pillow cover in a girls bedroom, the 12 colors pop against the soft texture really nicely.
- Canvas zip pouch frontA 4-inch version on the front of a canvas zip pouch makes a sweet pencil case or cosmetics bag for a unicorn fan.
- Kids sweatshirt yokeThe yoke placement across a kids sweatshirt shoulder works well with the 4.5-inch size, leaving room for a name below.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
