This one is the mermaid unicorn mashup. Ya get a unicorn face with that tall lime-yellow horn, but the flower crown is replaced with a big teal scallop seashell, and the stars scattered around are purple and teal instead of gold. 5 colour changes, and 5 sizes from 3.5 to a 7.5 size. The seashell is the trickiest element to stitch well. Ive digitised it with satin columns that follow the fan ridges, so each ridge reads as a separate line and you actually see the shell texture rather than just a flat teal blob. The horn uses underlay passes to keep the yellow-green thread dense and opaque, good if youre going onto darker fabric like a navy shirt. Use a cutaway stabiliser for kids clothing made from cotton jersey or interlock knit. For woven cotton and canvas tote bags a tearaway will do fine. Hoop the fabric grain-straight and press before running, the design is wide at the largest size and skew hooping shows up on the shell symmetry.
