Two figures mid-dance, one leading, one following, arms extended in a proper ballroom hold. Theres a heart floating above them that ties it to valentines day but honestly the dancing pose is whats different here. Most love embroideries are just hearts or words, this one actually shows two people together. Kinda nice for that reason.

Three colours, density 327, which sits in the easy-to-stitch range. Sizes from 3.35 inches wide reaching 7.18 inches, five sizes total, stitch count from 10,143 up to 17,619. The movement in the figures comes from the directional stitching on the bodies and the slight lean angle, which looks good but means youve got to hoop straight or the whole composition tilts.

I get a steady stream of orders for this one around Mothers Day and anniversary gifting, not just valentines. Last spring a customer had it stitched on a linen apron as a gift for her parents on their anniversary, said they had it on their wall rather than in the kitchen which made me suprised and happy. Back with tearaway on cotton and linen, cutaway on jersey and fleece, dont skip the topping on any textured fabric either.

Try it centred on a tote bag, a cushion cover, or the front of a denim shirt. White fabric shows the 3-colour palette at its best, but navy and dark grey work well with cream or gold thread colours. Skip very small placements, the figure detail needs atleast 4 inches to read properly.

Works beautifully as a matching gift. One item for each partner. One heart. Two dancers.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Anniversary gift tote bagon a kraft canvas tote at the large size it makes a romantic anniversary gift that works year after year.
  • Wedding gift linen tea towelOn a linen tea towel it makes a thoughtful wedding gift especially for couples who share a love of dancing.
  • Linen apron for a dancing coupleA 7 inch run centred on a linen apron front makes a meaningful anniversary or valentines gift for a dancing couple.
  • Romantic cushion coverOn a cream or ivory linen cushion cover the silhouette design looks quietly romantic rather than overtly valentines-themed.
  • Dance studio tote or bagA medium size on a canvas dance bag makes a gift for anyone in dance classes that ties their hobby and valentines together.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
