This gnome has got the whole cupid brief sorted in the most gnome way possible. Tall pointy hat in deep pink with bold black horizontal stripes, so overgrown it droops at the tip. The beard is massive, white and fluffy, taking up the whole lower two-thirds of the figure so the little fella barely has a body visible. Tiny tan nose peeking out between hat brim and beard, which is honestly just the right amount of gnome. Hes holding a proper curved bow in one arm, and the arrow has a bright pink heart where the tip should be.

Twelve colour stops, yeah its a lot, but each one's doing something distinct. The hat uses alternating deep pink and near-black satin bands running horizontally with a clean edge between each. Beard is a dense directional tatami fill in off-white with lighter highlight threads layered over so it reads as soft and dimensional rather than flat. The bow arm is a dark brown curved satin run with a highlight stripe down the front. Hot pink satin shoes sit at the very bottom, just visible below the beard mass. The heart on the arrow tip is a small filled satin shape in the same hot pink as the shoes so the whole colourway ties together real nicely.

Five sizes from 3.51 by 3.09 inches up to 7.51 by 6.61 inches and thats a wide range. At the big end this is a proper feature piece, nearly 45k stitches, so budget 45 to 60 minutes of machine time on a mid-speed home machine. Use a medium-weight cutaway on knit and fleece, medium tearaway across plain cotton. The beard section benefits from a topping layer on any textured fabric to keep the directional fill sitting cleanly. I get messages about the beard specifically. Someone stitched it last February on a cream fleece cushion and said it came out looking genuinely fluffy, thats exactly what the layered fill is there for.

Works brilliant for Valentine cushions, tote bags, kids bedroom decor, and seasonal wall hangings. White, cream, pale pink, or soft grey fabric backgrounds let the pink and black hat read at full contrast. Avoid hot pink base fabric or the hat disappears into the background completely.

Ping me if the hat stripe alignment skews on a curved hoop and Ill rework the design path.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
