This gnome is throwing peace signs and he means it. Tall red polka-dot hat on top, massive fluffy grey beard taking up most of the lower half, tiny round nose poking out just above. Both arms are raised and those lil hands are flashing the V. Pink hearts scattered all around him like they just burst outwards. The whole thing has a kinda carefree, hippie-valentines mood that you dont see alot on the usual heart-and-roses stuff.

Six colours in here. Hot pink hat with white polka dots stitched as individual satin circles. The beard is a warm grey with directional stitching pulling downward so it looks like actual fluff rather than a flat block. Tan skin tones on the hands, brown boots at the bottom. Pink hearts around him range from full solid fills to tiny open shapes at the outer edges. Stitch range goes from 14,493 on the 3.5-inch up to 35,869 on the 7.5-inch across five sizes.

My customer who runs a hippie gift boutique in february last year ordered a bunch of these on cream canvas totes. She told me her regulars went wild for the peace-sign angle because it felt less generic than the usual cupid stuff. I get messages in january from shop owners asking if there are nine sizes or just five. Its five sizes, the range covers 3.15 inches wide up to 6.74 inches wide.

Stitch on white, cream or blush cotton for best contrast. The hot pink reads strongest on pale grounds. Avoid anything darker than a light grey because the hat colour blends. Pop the 5-inch run feature on a tote front or use the smaller 3-inch on a cushion front or bib. Pair with a plain font below if you want to add a name or date underneath the gnome.

Beard section needs a cutaway stabiliser underneath, dont skimp there or the dense satin pulls the fabric. Hoop the piece firmly in a mid-weight stabiliser and reduce speed slightly when the machine hits those tight dotted circles at the top. Drop me a line if the file doesnt open right and ill resend straight away.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
