This is the heart love rose piece, kinda 2 designs blended into one. Outer shape reads as a full layered rose with chunky overlapping petals filling out a heart silhouette. Then the word LOVE sits across the middle, written out with letters built from tiny chained hearts so the letters themselves feel romantic too.
Just one colour, a strong cherry red, which keeps the whole thing fast to stitch despite the size. Petals carry dense satin fills with directional sweeping that follows each curve, the LOVE text and the little chained hearts run on a thin outline so they sit clean over the petal layers underneath.
Sizing runs 9 options, smallest about 3.5 inches and largest just under 7 inches across. Stitch counts climb a bit since the petals stack 5 deep, biggest size hits around 50k. Most folks pick the 5 inch version for tee chest centres and the 7 inch one for cushion fronts.
Last valentines I had a customer order this gonna sew it onto a stack of muslin pouches as wedding favours, said the bright red on cream linen looked a bit like vintage stationery. Mum and grandma gifts work well too, I get loads of orders for tea towels with this one stitched in the corner.
Best on cotton, linen, denim and waffle textured fabrics. Skip thin chiffon since the petal density will pucker it. Cutaway stabiliser is your friend here, the satin fills want firm support to keep the petal edges sharp. Pre hoop tightly so the layered petals dont shift mid stitch.
