Mocked up this design for the customers who want a cat scene that reads as a couple rather than just two random cats next to each other. The lean and the shared balloon string sells it. Theres a border of tiny hearts circling both cats which gives the whole design a wreath-like quality when its hooped. Looks complete on its own without needing extra elements around it.

6 colours: red, white, pink, grey, a soft blush, and black. The colour layering for the tabby stripe details on the grey cat got mapped by running through my main software. The blush pink cheek circles are small satin spots, about 4mm at the petite 3.5, so they register fine down to the smallest hoop. Density is 835 which is on the fuller side because the cat bodies have alot of detail packed in, go with polymesh under stretch and dont skip the topping on anything with a visible weave.

5 sizes, smallest at 3.51 and the biggest 7-in run reaching 7.51 across. At the largest size thats 44512 stitches and 5 colour changes so plan accordingly. A customer ordered the mid 5-in build on a cream quilting cotton pillow cover and said the tabby markings came through really neatly, no puckering. Best on tightly woven fabrics. Avoid anything with alot of stretch without a topping layer.

Stitch it on white or cream cotton for maximum colour pop. Use the smallest size for a pocket placement on a shirt or a kid's bag. Skip polyfleece if you can, the loops catch on the satin columns. Message me if the blush or grey threads need swapping to match your colour palette and Ill walk ya through it.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
