Two ladybugs facing each other with a little heart nestled in between them. this piece that seems suprisingly simple until you look closer and see the cute details, the black spots on each rounded wing, the fine antenna curving toward each other, the tiny solid heart sitting exactly in the gap between them. Looks like theyre sharing the heart rather than just being placed near it.

Two colours total: the bug bodies and spots stitch in classic red and black, with a small heart matching in the same red. Stitch count runs from 6,342 at 3.5 inches up to 18,428 at 7.5 inches. Five sizes available. Density is 378 so its not a heavy stitch-out, a domestic machine handles it without any drama. The spots are satin filled circles with a proper underlay so they wont gap even on stretchy knit fabrics.

People who love nature-themed valentines gifts order this one a lot, its popular with gardeners, bug fans, and anyone who thinks the standard rose-and-heart valentine is overdone. One customer last february stitched the medium size on a pair of matching cream cotton tote bags for her daughters class valentines exchange and they were a total hit. The spots and antenna details hold up well at a 3-in chest too.

Use a tearaway stabiliser for plain weave cotton, cutaway for any jersey or stretch knit. Pop it centred on a white or cream shirt for maximum contrast on the red. Skip busy patterned fabrics where the spots will get lost. Two colour swaps. Done.

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids valentines day classroom giftsThe small size works perfectly centred on a child's shirt or bib for a sweet and non-typical valentines day look.
  • Nature-lover romantic tote bagsOn a natural linen or canvas tote it appeals to people who like nature themes over the usual valentine florals.
  • Garden club valentines themed apparelStitched on a light cotton apron or hat it makes a fun themed piece for gardening clubs and nature groups.
  • Sweet anniversary gifts for bug loversFor a partner who loves bugs or nature the medium size on a soft cotton tee is a funny and personal anniversary gift.
  • Childrens valentines party favour bagsA tiny size on a muslin drawstring bag fills out a class valentines exchange set without the usual candy-box look.
  • Cute spring tshirt accent designsWorks year-round on spring tees for kids or adults, not just a seasonal piece because ladybugs read as cheerful any time.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
