Three rows of big chunky LOVED stacked right on top of each other, and then mama in black cursive underneath. Thats the whole thing and it works really well. The lettering style is that 70s-era rounded block look where the letters are fat and almost bubbly, with tiny little hearts and four-point sparkle stars squeezed into the gaps between letterforms. You dont notice those at first but once you spot them you cant unsee them.

Red fills the block letters solid and the negative space inside each letter punches through as white, which gives it that retro sticker-art feel. Then the mama at the bottom is completely different in style, this loose swooping cursive that softens everything around it. Its a nice contrast. The red and black keep it valentine without going over the top with the pink.

And its popular with mamas, which honestly I expected. But the one that suprised me was when a customer stitched this onto a red canvas tote for her own mum and sent a quick snap. Last valentines day I had a small run of people using it on matching shirts for the whole family. The cursive mama sits lower than the block rows so on a shirt it reads front-and-center without hitting the collar.

Stitch on white or cream for the cleanest read, the red really pops on light fabric. Pale grey works too if you want it slightly more muted. Dont go dark because the white cutout areas inside the letters disappear completely. Use a light cutaway stabiliser on knit cotton tees or a tearaway on woven canvas. Hoop snug, especially at the smaller sizes where those star details get tight. Holler at me if anything doesnt run right and Ill sort it same day.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
