A heart sits in the centre with a pair of angel wings spreading out wide on each side. The wings have layered feather detail, short rows of satin fill stacked in overlapping tiers that get longer toward the outer edge of each wing. Its a taller-than-wide design, the smallest size is 1.76 inches wide by 3.51 inches tall, and the largest is 3.78 wide by 7.51 inches tall. Single colour throughout, 4,821 stitches at the small end up to 12,652 at the full size. Density at 446 stitches per inch keeps the feather satin crisp and the heart fill solid without any gapping between rows.
Because the design runs tall and narrow, its best suited for vertical placements like sleeve strips, leg panels, or centre-chest on a shirt where the wings can spread naturally without being cropped by a seam. Use midweight cutaway behind under knit fabrics, or a single tear-away on stiff woven cotton. Dont use a topping unless you're going onto very textured fabric, the one-colour satin reads cleanly on smooth cotton or denim without any pile interference.
A customer last spring asked about this one for a nursery wall hoop project in pastel yellow thread on white cotton. Looked lovely apparently, the wing feather detail at the 3.78 inch size gave it a vintage illustration quality. Best on pale or neutral backgrounds since the single-colour fill needs contrast to show off the feather layering. Type a name text block below it if you want to personalise, the tall-narrow proportion leaves space below the wing tips for a small text line.
Pop this on a Valentine shirt breast pocket, a sleeve at mid-bicep, a pair of jeans down the outer leg seam, or a custom tote bag gusset. The smaller sizes work on bookmarks, fabric tags, and patch making as well.

- Tote bag side gusset or handle tab accentStitch the narrow gusset of a canvas tote at 2 to 2.5 inches for a subtle detail that only shows at certain angles.
- Fabric patch making for jackets and bagsPre-stitched on white cotton twill and then cut out and ironed on, makes a quick patch for customising jackets.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
