This is a floral bouquet that leans into that old botanical-illustration look, the kind you'd find pressed inside a vintage book. Theres a daisy at the top with ivory petals fanning out around a warm orange centre, then beneath it a couple of anemone-type blooms in lavender and salmon-pink with their own layered petals, and everything trails down on sage-green stems with a little closed bud tucked in. Its alot of colour in one design but it all sits together naturally because the palette stays soft and muted throughout.

my main software is what I used for the petal sequencing. The 10-colour run goes through 9 colour changes at around 1,087 stitches per square inch, which gives the petals a smooth satin finish without going stiff on lighter fabrics. The design comes in 5 sizes from 3.5 inches at full 7.5 wide, and the stitch count runs from about 14,241 up to 36,507 so the larger hooped sizes do carry quite abit of thread weight. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser for anything knit or stretchy, and topping helps keep those fine stem lines crisp on textured weaves like linen or canvas.

One customer asked about putting the 5-inch face on cream linen tea towel and said it came out looking like something from a garden shop, which is kind of exactly the vibe. The directional stitching on the petals catches light differently depending on angle, so it looks almost hand-painted in person. And the ivory petal thread reads beautifully against natural or off-white fabrics. Stitch it on a dark ground and add a light underlay first so the pale threads dont disappear. Pick a tearaway stabiliser for firm woven napkins and youll be fine.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kitchen linens like tea towels and napkins for a cottage kitchen feelThe soft palette works on cream, natural, or sage-green linen without clashing. Use cutaway stabiliser underneath.
  • Tote bags for farmers market or garden centre useA 5-inch or 6-inch hoop fits well on a medium tote. Firm woven canvas needs no topping.
  • Blouse or shirt pockets for a vintage botanical accentCentre the bouquet on a left chest pocket. The vertical trailing shape fits a standard shirt pocket width.
  • Throw pillow covers in natural linen for a bedroom or sitting roomThe design fills a 12-inch pillow panel nicely at the largest size. Pre-wash linen before hooping.
  • Embroidery hoop wall art as a standalone framed pieceMount the finished piece in a 7-inch or 8-inch wooden hoop with the stabiliser trimmed back to show the fabric edge.
  • Baby room decor on crib sheets or a small wall hangingWorks on cotton muslin or organic cotton with a soft tearaway. The muted palette suits a gender-neutral nursery.
  • Gift wrapping fabric or reusable cloth bags for floral gift setsStitch on a 10x10 inch cotton square, fold and tie with twine. Reusable and looks intentional as wrapping.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
