Big open magnolia petals, the kind you see in those old botanical illustration prints from the 1800s. Thats the vibe here. Three colours build it up: a warm cream white for the main petals, a blush pink centre cluster, and an olive sage green on the leaves. industry software handled the digitising, so the satin stitch on each petal runs directional, which gives that soft shading effect without needing extra colour changes.
Stitch range starts at 14,992 on the 2.79-inch small and climbs to 33,749 on the full 5.97-inch wide version. Density sits at 754, pretty moderate for a botanical piece this size. Pop a sturdy poly cutaway behind cotton or linen fabric before you hoop it. Last spring a customer stitched this onto a linen table runner and the cream-on-cream contrast came out realy well, almost like a woven texture.
And the leaves here arent an afterthought. Theyre shaped like real magnolia foliage, with a subtle underlay pass that keeps the fabric from puckering on the wider sizes. Nine sizes total so you can fit it on a pocket, a tote, or a full table centrepiece. Stitch it on natural fibres for the best result, dont bother with dark backgrounds, the pale palette needs light fabric to pop.
Hoop a fresh piece, use a stabiliser suited to your base cloth, and run the largest size on a 6x7 hoop. Pick the 3-inch version for shirt pockets and small pouches. Add wash-away film atop any fabric with texture so the satin stitches sit flat and clean. Holler at me via the shop if anything in the file doesnt work and Ill sort it the same day.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Linen table runners and placematsThe cream and blush palette sits beautifully on natural linen for table runners, giving a vintage-pressed-flowers look.
- Botanical-themed tote bagsStitched on a canvas or cotton tote the magnolia reads from a distance and wears the botanical tag well.
- Pillow covers for living room or bedroomSize up to the 5.97-inch wide version for a pillow centrepiece, the directional satin gives it real depth.
- Shirt and blouse left-chest pocket detailThe 2.79-inch size drops right into a standard shirt pocket without fighting the seam allowance.
- Framed embroidery hoop wall artMount the largest version in a 7-in frame on cream linen and its ready to hang as wall art straight away.
- Apron bib front panelThree-colour build keeps thread changes minimal on an apron front panel, so stitching time stays under 30 minutes.
- Napkins for garden party table settingsThe pale palette on white napkins for a garden party reads refined and not at all fussy.
- Baby nursery blanket corner accentCorner placement on a cellular blanket in a nursery with the blush tones works well for a soft feminine theme.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
