One colour. Thats the whole design. But its not simple. The motorcycle is leaning hard into the bend, rider crouched forward in full gear, helmet down. Behind them the road winds back toward a set of sharp mountain peaks with pine tree rows along the ridge. All of it rendered in that old woodcut engraving way where theres no shading, just lines packed closer together or farther apart to make the darks and lights. Really dense in the tyre and wheel sections, 49k stitches on 7-in jumbo.06-inch size.

Single colour stop, no changes. I used a light cream thread on a black background when I test stitched it and that's exactly what the preview shows, cream on black. But it also runs beautifully in charcoal on oatmeal, or navy on cream if you want something less high-contrast. The stitching is dense enough, density 941, that the linework comes through clean on woven fabric without needing a lot of stabiliser work.

Ive made a few motorcycle designs but this one gets the most repeat orders. People doing custom biker club merchandise, custom jacket backs, road trip commemorative patches. A group of motorcyclists ordered it in june for a club anniversary run and had it done on the back of nine denim vests. Came out looking exactly like a vintage club patch which is what they wanted.

Best results on dark denim or black canvas with a light thread. Run a firm cutaway stabiliser underneath, the long directional stitching in the mountain sections can drag without solid backing. Hoop very tight or the registration between the tight engraving lines goes off and you lose the image quality. Skip stretchy fabric on the bigger sizes aswell, 49k on jersey is asking for trouble. Trailing thought: the 3.29-inch smallest size works as a hat patch if you centre it properly.

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
