Snowman in a top hat standing inside a round holly border, the whole composition done in a vintage storybook style thats pretty different from the usual cartoon snowman designs. The snowman himself has fine stipple shading on the round body sections so he doesnt look completely flat, and the surrounding wreath has detailed leaf veins and small berry clusters in three-stitched groups. Alot going on in a contained round shape.
8 colours: white and soft grey for the snowman body shading, a deep black top hat, orange carrot nose, red berries and green leaves in the frame, navy blue scarf with a fringe detail at the ends, and dark near-black for the coal eyes and buttons. 5 sizes from 3.5 inches all the way to 7.5 inches. Stitch counts start at 44k and climb to just under 104k on the full size. By far the densest piece in this christmas batch.
Use a medium to heavy cutaway stabiliser and make sure the hoop sits drum tight before you start. Fleece and thick sweatshirt fabric handle the density well. Skip anything thin or lacy at the large sizes because the high stitch coverage will pucker lightweight weaves.
I get orders for this one from people doing christmas stockings and decorative wall hoops. Its got that old christmas card look thats hard to find in modern embroidery files. One customer stitched it on a velvet stocking panel last december and the berries really came alive in the dense pile.
Hoop it right, pick quality fabric, and the result looks genuinely hand-crafted rather than printed.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Holiday throw pillow coversOn a heavy cotton or canvas pillow cover the vintage illustration style suits traditional christmas home decor.
- Christmas table runner centrepieceA 6 inch detail placed on a linen table runner creates a focal point for a traditional christmas table setting.
- Linen gift bags for special presentsStitched on a heavy cotton or muslin drawstring bag it lifts a plain fabric gift bag into something giftable itself.
- Festive sweatshirt back panel designOn the back panel of a dark navy sweatshirt the white snowman and red holly frame create a striking winter look.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
