Heres the water splash design with a 5x7 frozen mid-action read, the kind you get when something hits a pool and bits go flying everywhere. You got a main column of water rising up, smaller drops shooting outward and upward, and a thin circular ripple sitting around the base where the splash meets the surface.

It runs on four blues. Light sky blue catches the highlight side, mid ocean blue does the body of the splash, deep navy gives the shadows their weight, and tiny white bits sit on the foam tops of the bigger drops. Thats it. No fussy gradients, just clean colour blocks shaped by directional stitching that follows the splash motion.

I made this one to be useful as a layering element. It doesnt need to stand alone. Stitch it under a fish, behind a surfboard, around a beach lettering piece, whatever ya want. Works on its own too if you like a more abstract motif on a swim bag or summer tank.

Use white, cream, pale grey or soft yellow as the base fabric. Anything light coloured really. Skip dark fabric because the lightest blue gets lost on navy or charcoal. Last summer a customer wrote me asking to flip that pale tone over to white for a black tee run and the whole splash read cleaner that way.

Density is moderate, no super heavy fill sections, so a medium-weight tearaway stabiliser holds up on woven fabrics. For stretchy stuff like swim trunks fabric or tee fronts, go cutaway. People been using this for swim school merch, summer camp shirts, july fourth pool party gear and beach business branding. Send screenshot if anything stitches funny when you run the file.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Swim school logo apparelStitch on white polo or cap fronts for swim school staff, the splash reads as instant water branding.
  • Summer camp counsellor teesPair with a camp logo above it on a sky blue tee for summer staff merch, kids love the energy.
  • Pool party tank topsCentre on a tank back for pool party crews, scales well to 6-inch for a statement piece.
  • Beach bag and swim bag accentsPlace on a side panel of a canvas swim bag, ya get a nice pop without overwhelming the bag.
  • july fourth pool merchCombine with stars or stripes for july fourth pool gear, splash gives the design its punch.
  • Surf shop tee frontsFront-pocket placement on a surf shop tee, looks great paired with a small wave or board outline.
  • Layering element under fish or wave designsStitch behind a fish or boat outline as a background motion element, adds depth fast.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
