Worked this we wish you a merry christmas design up as a lyric layout rather than a traditional tree scene, 5 sizes from 3-inch to 7.5length. The main phrase runs large in cranberry red script, thick and bold, then a smaller gold accent line sits below. Two thread colours, 2 passes. The pique apron is where I tested it first and the cranberry on white pique is probably the best version, that fabric texture gives the satin fill a more raised feel that plain cotton doesnt get.

Stitch range is 7,203 at the smallest to 15,701 at the 7.5 placement. Density sits at 422 stitches per square centimetre at max which is medium-heavy, so a woven cotton apron needs a medium cutaway stabiliser underneath and the apron bib hooped flat. Ive run this through my main digitising tool and the script angles are optimised for stitching speed on home machines, no long jumps between letters that cause tension problems. The gold accent pass is a running stitch underline, not satin, which keeps thread usage low and avoids the accent overwhelming the main lyric.

One customer ordered it on a white pique apron in november to send me message about a colour swap, wanted cranberry to ivory on a burgundy apron, I said thats doable, just swap the thread at the machine, and they ran it beautifully. Pop it on a white cotton tee front, an apron bib, or on a set of linen cocktail napkins for a christmas party hosting gift. The 4-inch is small enough for a stocking or a felt ornament hoop.

Best on white or very pale fabrics where the cranberry red shows full contrast. Avoid stretchy fabrics, the running stitch gold accent will pucker on jersey without dense cutaway support.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
