Cooked up this What the Elf phrase as my answer to all those tired christmas eve moments and it has become my best selling funny tee design of the season. The phrase is bold red brush script for What and elf, with the smaller in green cursive sitting between them. The L of elf is replaced by a striped candy cane in red and white, and a tilted green hat with red trim perches right on top of the candy cane.
Stitch work uses a directional satin fill on every letter so the brush script catches light like real handwritten ink. Theres yellow stars scattered round the phrase and grey swirl accents giving it movement. At the bottom of the design sit two curly toed elf boots, one green with crimson trim, one crimson with green trim, theyre playful. Realy playful setup.
I get messages every november from customers asking for funny christmas merch and this design lands top of my recommendation list. One customer ordered the medium size for a batch of friendsgiving party tees and her group photo was honestly chefs kiss.
5 sizes available, smallest at 3.23 inches wide up to 6.93 inches. Stitch counts run 21k to 51k, mostly the red script letters since theyre dense. 10 colours including the lettering reds, candy cane white and red, elf hat green, stars yellow and grey accents.
Stitches cleanly on cotton sweatshirt fleece, brushed jersey, canvas totes and waffle weave tea towels. Pop medium cutaway behind any stretchy fabric and tearaway on woven cotton. Skip thin silky tee jersey at the bigger sizes, the dense script will pull and pucker. Message me if anything goes sideways and ill resend the file.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
