Whisk gets the top slot in big leaning red script, all swoopy with a long tail on the W. Then theres this fat black whisk illustration smack in the centre, and the word it gets stitched in white counter-thread against the black fill, which is a clever layering detail. Always comes in at the bottom in matching red script, so the whole thing reads top to bottom like a single sentence. Off to the left is a black cutting board silhouette tilted at a slight angle and on the right theres a box grater. A long spatula sits flat across the very bottom.

Three colours get stitched in sequence. Red goes first for the big script letters, then black lays down all the tool shapes and the whisk body, then white thread goes back in to pull out the counter lettering. Its a 5-stop job, so youre not standing at your machine for long, but you do get a properly layered result that looks like it took more effort than it did.

Stitch count runs up to about 35k on the biggest size so this is a denser piece than it looks. Just last month one customer messaged me after running it on a heavyweight canvas tote for a baking gift bag, and the contrast between the red script and the black tools looked really punchy. For kitchen towels and aprons Ive found that running a stabiliser sheet underneath and hooping cotton firmly makes the spatula and grater outlines stay sharp.

Stick to pale and neutral fabric so all three colours show properly. White cotton, natural linen and light grey canvas all work. Skip dark backgrounds because the script lettering loses contrast and the white counter stitching in the whisk head wont read at all. Thats the only real rule with this one.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baking-themed aprons for passionate home bakersStitch on a white or cream apron and its immediately clear this belongs in a serious bakers kitchen
  • Kitchen tea towels as baking giftsIron it onto a thick white cotton tea towel and you have a ready-made baking gift that looks thoughtful and custom
  • Canvas tote bags for baking supply haulsRuns nicely on a heavy-duty tote, gives a sturdy bag a bold graphic kitchen-art feel that shows up well
  • Personalised oven gloves and pot holdersEmbroider onto a blank oven glove and the three-colour layout stays readable because the tool shapes dont crowd the text

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
