Two paw prints overlapping, and the longer ya look the more ya see. The top print has a wolf eye sitting right in the main centre pad, staring out through the stitching, pale grey iris with a sharp black pupil. The lower print has the nose tucked in just below, nostrils dark and close-set. Five colours total but theyre all in the charcoal-to-white monochrome range, it lets the pencil-sketch texture do the work rather than competing with colour. The toe pads around both prints use short crosshatch directional fills that give em a fur-and-skin feel, not just flat shapes.

I built this one for a wildlife photography collective who wanted something tough and spare for their merch, a design that felt like field notes rather than clip art. The wolf gaze is what people cant stop talking about when they see it, they dont notice it immediately and then suddenly its right there looking at em. The whole thing reads as paw prints from across a room but up close the hidden wolf face is obvious. Nine sizes from 3.3 inches up to 7.07 inches wide, stitch count runs from 26k on the small end to 58k on the biggest.

A customer from a wolf sanctuary ordered a batch of this last october for their fundraiser tees. She said the volunteers were suprised at how sharp the crosshatch stitching came out on black cotton. Best on dark fabric where the grey tones layer against black cotton and pull out maximum contrast, navy canvas works aswell. Stitch the 7-inch on a black denim jacket back or charcoal hoodie for a strong wildlife graphic. Pop smaller sizes on a canvas patch backed with tearaway, good for bag straps or hat panels. Avoid white or cream base fabric because the light grey pads disappear against pale grounds and ya lose the toe textures.

Use a firm cutaway stabiliser for the toe pad sections, those dense crosshatch fills need a stable base or the directional stitching starts to show pull. The tatami underlay professional tools put in keeps the grey fills smooth across all sizes. Hoop denim with a topping layer if ya want the sharpest needle penetration on the dark weave, makes a real difference on the fur detail. If anything looks off when ya stitch it out just send me message and ill take a look.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
