Its a strip of wildflower meadow basically. Black-eyed susans with warm sand-orange petals and dark brown disk centres are the main event, they take up most of the space and have that open-field daisy feel to them. Between the susans theres smaller pink 5-petal blooms and green foliage sprays, all placed loosely without any obvious repeat pattern so it looks like something growing rather than something printed.

Wide horizontal border design, runs 4.51 to 7.51 inches tall with widths from 2.37 to 3.95 inches. 8 colour stops total covering 6 unique colours. Stitch count goes from 9,747 at the chest size up to 16,046 at the largest. The density is around 541 stitches per square inch and that is comfortable, not heavy, a medium tearaway stabiliser works on most woven fabrics and cottons though id switch to cutaway on stretch. In October a customer used the 3.95-inch width version down the front band of a linen apron, it looked realy good against the natural fabric colour, the petals just popped against the flax tone.

Use it on table runners, tote bags, pillowcase borders, aprons, or frame it upright in a tall narrow hoop. Run it vertically in a 4x7 hoop on cream cotton for a botanical print wall piece. Skip sheer fabrics where the underlay threads show through. Text the shop if the download has any problem and Ill get the corrected file across to you quickly.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Linen aprons and kitchen accessoriesLinen apron front band at 3.95 inches running vertically down the centre, a customer put this on her market aprons and said people kept stopping at her stall to ask about it.
  • Table runners and placematsTable runner ends with two mirrored strips, one at each short edge in warm sand tones, gives a proper wildflower meadow feel without needing a centrepiece.
  • Tote bags and market bagsKitchen runner fabric cut into a long narrow piece and stitched with this repeating along both long edges in alternating orientations for variety.
  • Pillowcase borders and cushion coversOxford shirt cuff border running along the fold line at the smallest 2.37-inch version, subtle and reads well in natural thread on white cotton.
  • Framed botanical wall art hoopsGarden flag panel with the upright design at full height, mounted outdoors on a small flag display for a cottage garden entrance.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
