Tall vertical wildflower scene. Youre looking at a patch of garden that hasnt been tidied, mixed flower types at different heights, thin wiry stems crossing each other the way real wildflowers do when they grow close together. Theres small daisy-type blooms with round centres, tighter cluster flowers at the top ends of the stems, a few broad leaf sprays filling the gaps, and somewhere in the middle of it all a single butterfly has landed and is just sitting there among the stems. Thats the detail that makes it feel like a snapshot rather than a graphic.

Design runs tall and narrow, which is the format that suits wildflower bunches and garden scenes. Widest size is 4.31 inch across but the height goes up to 8.51 inch, so its built for placement on items where you want a vertical feature. Stitch count sits between 25,817 and 39,761 depending on size, and with density at 1,083 the floral fills have real body without the design feeling stiff. That density aswell means the thin stem lines stitch cleanly at the narrower width rather than disappearing into the base fabric, which is always the risk with botanical work at small scale.

People who are into cottagecore, garden aesthetics or botanical home decor find this one fast. A customer last spring ordered it on a linen tote and emailed me a photo, the pale lavender and dusty rose colours on natural linen looked exactly right. Works beautifully on white cotton tea towels, canvas aprons with the design running up one side panel, or as a standalone hoop piece in an oval frame that mimics the tall garden format.

4 sizes available, narrowest at 2.8 inch wide going up to 4.31 inch. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser and hoop the fabric with no give at all, the fine stem lines are the first thing to suffer if theres movement. Slow the machine for the thinner detail passes. Every common embroidery format is in the download zip so it should open in whatever software you use.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • linen tote bag with botanical side panelStitch the tallest size on a natural linen tote and place it off-centre for a botanical panel that looks gathered from a real garden
  • cotton tea towel or flour-sack kitchen textileEmbroider on a white or oatmeal flour-sack tea towel as a housewarming or hostess gift that gets used rather than shelved
  • standalone hoop art for home wall decorMount in a tall oval wooden hoop frame for a wall piece, the vertical format fits the shape better than square frames do
  • cotton apron side panel or bibRun it up the side panel of a canvas apron for a garden or kitchen apron that looks artisan without trying too hard
  • cushion cover botanical accentUse the widest version centred on a cushion cover in a bedroom or lounge with natural linen or slub cotton fabric
  • baby or nursery quilt square or panelEmbroider one square of a baby quilt with the compact size for a nursery with a botanical or garden theme
  • shirt sleeve or shoulder placementPlace the mid-size design on a shirt sleeve or shoulder yoke for a subtle floral detail that doesnt take over the whole garment

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
