Knocked out this winter gnome trio because alot of customers kept asking me for blue winter scenes instead of the usual red and green christmas. Theres three little gnomes lined up shoulder to shoulder, each wearing a tall floppy hat in a slightly different blue pattern. Beards take up most of their bodies, pale pink noses poke through, and snowflakes scatter around them.
Hats are done in dusty navy and slate blue with little painterly patterns stitched on, kinda like nordic textile prints. The beards use directional stitching so the fluff actually reads as beard, not just a flat white blob. Charcoal grey boots tuck under the beards and the same charcoal works for the scattered snowflakes.
Ive been making winter pieces for years and most customers want the obvious christmas reds. So when one customer wrote me asking for a cooler nordic palette last december I figured a few more people would want it too. Turns out alot of you do, and Ive sold this one steadily since.
6 sizes in the file, smallest 4.43 inches wide, biggest 8.45 inches and 10.5 tall. The bigger sizes work well on cushion fronts and quilt panels, smaller ones look right on tea towels and table runners.
Stitches well on linen, cotton canvas, twill, fleece and natural muslin. Skip dark navy fabric because the beards lose contrast. Use knit-friendly cutaway on stretch knits, tearaway works for woven. Text me if the file gives trouble, Ill sort it within hours and youll be back stitching. Email a note if the download hits any snags and Ill resend it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
