Played around with a lot of unicorn face layouts last december and this one is the most stripped-back Ive done. Three colours only: aqua, a medium icy blue, and black. No red, no gold, nothing warm. Thats what makes the whole thing read cold in the best way. Big almond-shaped eyes take up most of the face, teal fill inside with heavy black outlines and thick brow arches curving upward. The horn is a tightly digitised spiral in the same icy blue tones, and coming off the horn base youll see those curling scroll antennae shapes looping upward and outward on both sides.

Below the closed lashes theres the snowflake arrangement: one larger teal-green centrepiece flanked by 2 smaller icy blue snowflakes, and then 2 tiny asterisk-style ones at the outer edges. Density is 545 which is actually on the lighter side for a design with this much detail, the scroll fills and snowflakes are done efficiently. Only 2 colour changes and 43 trims at the smallest size so stitching is faster than it looks. She sent me a message after she stitched it onto a pale blue fleece beanie saying the aqua thread almost disappears into the fabric, so stick with white or light grey for the snowflakes to pop.

Five sizes from 3.32 inches across to 7-in.10 inches wide. Heights run 3.51 to 7.51 inches. Stitches go from 13,067 to 29,051. Pop a medium-weight tearaway stabiliser under this one, the density is low enough that tearaway handles it fine on most stable knits. Reach out if theres an issue and I'll fix it straight away.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
