Black silhouette of a cat sitting upright with a pointed witch hat on its head. Thats really what this one is, and it does the job perfectly. The hat has a small buckle shape near the brim, there's a tall broom leaning to the left of the cat, a swirling crescent orb to the right, and a bunch of leaves and stems at the base tying the whole composition together.

Its pure flat black, no internal lines, no shading, just solid tatami fill throughout. One colour start to finish. I got asked alot whether silhouettes like this actually look good stitched out, and the answer is yes, especially on lighter fabrics where that contrast really pops. A customer last october ordered this on cream linen kitchen towels for a halloween themed table setting and sent me a pic, looked brilliant.

Comes in 5 sizes ranging from 3.5 inches wide at top 7.5. Stitch counts go from around 11,621 at the smallest up to 30,520 at the largest, so the bigger sizes have alot of coverage but the density is consistent across all five. Digitised in my usual software so the fill direction and underlay are set up properly for clean results on woven cotton and linen.

Back stretch fabric or lighter knit with a medium cutaway. Tearaway is fine on woven cotton, denim, canvas. Skip stabiliser and the fill will shift, especially on that bigger 7.5 inch version. And dont hoop too tight on fleece or the fabric puckers once removed.

Holler if the download has any issues and Ill get you sorted.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
