Two soft white ghosts floating side by side, both wearing tall black witch hats with that classic curled pointed tip and a wide brim. Each ghost holds a broomstick angled out to the side. Their faces are just two small dark oval eyes, no mouths, which keeps the whole thing looking cute rather than creepy. Gold stars dot the background, purple four-point sparkle diamonds pop between em, and black crescent moons curve around the edges. Its a 4-colour layout and the colour separation is clean, each element has its own clear zone so the print reads well at every size.
Five sizes from 3.05 inches up to 6.53 wide, it stitches out at 23k on the biggest and just under 8k on the smallest. The ghost bodies are the densest section, tight satin fill with enough underlay to keep the white sitting on top without sinking. industry tools kept the hat edges sharp, the satin column on the witch brim is narrow and directional so it follows the curve without breaking up. I been digitising paired character designs for a while and the tricky bit is always getting both figures to feel balanced without one stitching heavier than the other.
My niece wanted a halloween costume tee last year that wasnt messy or gory, she wanted something she could also wear to school on the 31st. These two witch ghosts were it, she loved em. I get messages now from primary school parents who want the same thing, cute enough for a classroom but still properly halloween themed. Not every kid wants a skull on their shirt.
Stitch on black or charcoal cotton, the white ghost bodies pop beautifully on dark fabric, its the contrast that makes them float. Skip light-coloured fabric because the white fill blends in and you lose the ghosts. Use cutaway stabiliser on jersey, tearaway on woven cotton. Hoop tight for the hat tips, the narrow pointed tops need a stable base or they pull.
