Chibi witch girl. Big head, tiny body, the classic kawaii proportion that makes everything look instantly cute rather than threatening. She has a tall pointed black witch hat sitting slightly off-centre on her head, two small buns or pigtails coming out at the sides. Face is round with oversized eyes, rosy cheeks, the works. Body is small and simple, hands folded or at her sides, a short witch dress or robe in purple or black depending on the colourway. Nothing remotely scary about her and thats entirely the point.

5 sizes from 3.17 inch wide up to 6.81 inch, stitch range from 13,466 at the smallest up to 33,583 at the largest. Density at 658 puts this in a comfortable mid-range, not so dense that budget machines struggle, not so light that the fills look thin on woven cotton. Black outlines around the hat and body give the chibi silhouette good definition at smaller sizes so the face details dont disappear. The rosy cheeks are probably the trickiest part technically, tight small satin fills that need proper underlay to sit flat.

Kids halloween shirts, thats where this one lives mostly. Ordered a fair bit in september and early october. One mum last year wanted it on her daughter's trick-or-treat bag and her matching pink hoodie and she asked for the medium size on both so they lined up at the same visual weight. Also gets used alot for halloween classroom parties, teachers put it on aprons or on treat bags for students. The cute witch works for ages 2 to probably 9 or 10 before kids decide cute halloween isnt cool anymore.

Works on black, purple, orange or white fabric depending on which thread colourway you want to run. On black fabric the hat outline disappears so you'd need to consider a contrast underlay or run the hat in a deep purple instead. Lay cutaway underneath and pull the hoop snug, mid-speed is fine for most of the design. Keep the rpm steady through the cheek fills because those small satin pads are the first to show registration drift if the fabric moves at all. Skip dark brown fabric at small sizes since those pink cheek fills tend to get lost against warm-toned bases.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
