My customers who lean toward the celestial aesthetic, moon stuff, star stuff, that kinda thing, order this one a lot around halloween but also outside of october. Its not a seasonal design in practice, it works year-round for the witch lifestyle crowd. The design is 3.3" wide by 3.5" tall, ten colour stops, 22,537 stitches.
Density sits at 302, which is moderate-to-dense for this size. The crescent moon behind the hat uses a gold or warm-toned thread fill with a slight directional pull to give it dimension, it doesnt look flat when its stitched properly. The hat body itself is a solid charcoal satin, and I recommend pairing that section with a firm cutaway stabiliser, particularly on knit or fleece where the satin is prone to puckering without proper backing. On woven cotton, tearaway handles the hat fill cleanly.
Stitch it on a witch-themed tote, a halloween sweatshirt, or a celestial themed journal cover, hoop stiff interfacing and some cover fabric, stitch, then bind the edges for a quick gift. Pair it with a dark navy or deep green fabric and the gold moon really pops against the base colour. Use a matching dark bobbin thread under the hat satin section so nothing bleeds through on lighter top fabrics. Pick gold metallic thread for the moon and star fills if you want that extra shimmer, flat rayon works too but the metallic reads more atmospheric on the celestial elements.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
