Kinda obsessed with how this one came out. Its a heart shape used as a frame, but the witch completely takes it over. The right side of the heart has a full witch silhouette pressed against the curve, she's got wild hair, a broomstick tucked under her arm, the whole silhouette reads like she's riding the frame itself. Left interior of the heart is kinda just filled in with a big spiderweb. Bats at the top breaking above the heart peak. Pumpkin at the bottom left base sitting in the corner where the two curves meet.
truly striking in how much content is packed into one colour. Single black thread, zero colour changes, 1 stop. Stitch range is 7,549 stitches at 3 inches and goes up to 19,466 running at 7 inch. Density is 444 spi which is on the higher end for a filled silhouette piece, and youll feel it when it comes off the machine, the witch hair and the web detail both hold their shape cleanly. The digitising keeps the heart satin outline distinct from the filled silhouette zones so theyre not competing under a needle.
One customer was customising it for this past October and Run at 6 inches on quilt sashing, the witch silhouette holds clean against the seam allowance. I get messages about the heart-witch combination cos its a bit unusual, not just a pumpkin or a bat, its got more personality.
Stitch on soft woven cotton or felt using cutaway stabiliser on the larger 4-inch-and-up sizes. Use a topping on fleece or sherpa if you want the spiderweb lines sharp. Pop it on a makeup bag, a halloween pouch, a zip wallet, or a throw pillow front. Skip stretchy fabric for the smaller 3-inch size, the satin heart outline needs support or it distorts around the curves.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
