Theres no face. Just the eyes at the top, two of them, both fully open with proper brow lines and long individual lashes fanning out, and then nothing for a bit, and then the lips below. Dense red satin, full and defined. The gap between them is just fabric. Its that deliberate fragmentation that makes it feel like a fashion editorial crop rather than an illustration, and Im kinda proud of how clean it came out.
Three colours, 4 stops. Eyes use black for brows and lashes with a white fill inside the iris area, which is what makes the eyes read as open and alive rather than two black shapes. Red satin on the lips is the heaviest stitching in the piece, dense fill with smooth coverage. The lash detail at the smaller sizes is the most technically demanding part, individual lash strokes at 3 inches need the machine running at a reasonable speed with good tension. Use a slow-to-medium stitch speed if youre on an older machine.
Five sizes from 3 inches to 7 inches at 3,760 to 10,420 stitches. Light overall. A customer who designs beauty-themed market bags picked the 5-inch for a series of canvas totes last spring, said it was the one that got the most comments at her table, people kept asking where she found a design like that. Tear-away stabiliser works on woven cotton at all sizes. Add topping on linen to keep the lash strokes defined.
Pop it on white, cream, pale blush or soft grey for the cleanest read. Skip dark fabrics unless you add a white underlay first, otherwise the eye fill disappears into the background. Avoid very textured fabrics, the fine lash strokes need a smooth surface to land cleanly. Hoop snug and dont rush the tension setup on this one.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
